Agricultural Engineer from the University of Seville-Universidad Católica de Ávila.

She began her professional career in research at the Andalusian Institute for Agricultural, Fisheries, Food and Ecological Production Research and Training (IFAPA), within the Department of Natural Resources, integrated into numerous sustainable water management projects in woody crops. and horticultural, such as almond, blueberry, citrus, strawberry. These studies were based on plant physiology, agronomy, production improvement and different irrigation strategies. This opportunity allowed him to stay at the International Rice Institute (I.R.R.I. Lagos-Philippines), in the International Legagto project.

In 2012, she began collaborating with Phytoplant Research SLU, until 2016, when she began to form part of the Hybridization and Cultivation Department, as head of research, in charge of different studies in all the agronomic management processes of the crop ( variety trials, nutrition studies, irrigation management, selection of potential hybrids…etc).
