PhD in Chemistry from the University of Córdoba (2001); She has a Master's degree in "Environmental Engineering, Management and Auditing" (2003). She also holds a Master's Degree in "Advanced Fine Chemistry" (2011) and carried out her Doctoral thesis in 2014 related to new studies, on the improvement of olive oil and the use of residues from the olive grove, in the Department of Analytical Chemistry of the University of Córdoba; .
For more than 6 years she has worked in the private sector, working in the formulation and manufacture of cosmetic products, as well as quality management. She has experience in the development of methods for qualitative and quantitative analysis in Metabolomics; in the extraction and analysis of metabolites from natural extracts; in the identification of markers in breeding programs and in the revaluation of waste from the agri-food industry by isolating bioactive components.
This experience has helped her develop her current job at Phytoplant, where she extracts natural compounds from cannabis using organic solvents, both in liquid and gaseous states. The purification of cannabinoids by crystallization and preparative liquid-liquid chromatography: counter current chromatography (CCC), centrifugal partition chromatography (CPC) and Flash. As well as the development of new extraction and purification methods.
During her career, she has published more than 15 articles in international scientific journals and has participated in different national and international conferences.
